Sustainable consumption disseminated through new research

Mistra Sustainable Consumption, subtitled ‘From niche to mainstream’, is intended to provide more knowledge of how current consumption in limited niches can be scaled up and become part of many people’s everyday lives. The programme focuses on three areas: food, interior decoration and holidays.

‘It’s about shifts at many levels: in households, local communities, municipalities, the business sector and regional bodies, and in national political decision-making,’ said Karin Bradley of KTH Royal Institute of Technology, one of Mistra Sustainable Consumption’s two programme directors.
